Like Mauro, so many people had accidents whose consequences could have been
eased by an adequate treatment, but do not have enough resources.

O Fábio has suffered an accident with consequences and he is recovering quickly
thanks to the contributors of the Hands of the World organization.
Mrs. Joana, 65,
lives in a public asylum.
She cannot walk without
an equipment help.
Recently she has noticed a decrease
in her pain as a result of the humanitarian
work of Hands of the World.

Due to a degenerative desease,
the tendons of my arms were damaged.
If it wasn't for the work of the volunteer
physiotherapists from Hands of the World,
I couldn't do so many simple things."

Hands of the World invite all physiotherapists, from all over the world to put the hands on, to help this enourmous
amount of needy people which most of the times can be healed with simple and cheap procedures, more than we can think.
With only 2 hours a week you can give your contribution to improve the quality of life of so many people in the world.

The Hands of the World - Humanitarian Physiotherapy is a non-profit organization which aims to develop actions for the protection, elevation and mantenance of human being's quality of life through educational activities and capacity building as well as direct and effective actions as far as Physiotherapy is concerned.
The Hands of the World - Humanitarian Physiotherapy do its job serving needy individuals or group of vulnerable ones, who for whatever reason do not have access to physical therapy. We take action nationally or internationally. This project is not involved in religious, politics or whatever other questions which does not match our ideological view.
